The 16 tunes (79 minutes) on this CD are being released here for the first time. Two of the numbers were recorded in Copenhagen; 14 numbers were recorded in Sweden. The music on this CD was recorded during three live concerts: Two of the sessions were recorded in 1952 and the third in 1955.This CD of entirely previously unreleased material is a must for all fans of swing jazz, and Louis Armstrong fans in particular! As one can hear on this CD Armstrong is at his best, and the Scandinavian fans here – like fans all over the world – were wild about his music
