Billy Strayhorn plays piano on Passion Flower, Don’t Take Your Love from Me and Sono on CD 1 and Just A’Sittin’ And A ‘Rockin” and We’ll Be Together Again on CD 2. Duke Ellington is the piano player on all other titles. Billy Strayhorn was quite active during the Treasury Series of 1945 – 1946. Not only did he accompany the singers but if you listen closely you can hear him giggling behind Duke Ellington’s Bond Promos as well.
