This studio session recorded on July 6, 1976 in Copenhagen, features the pickup unit from the Danish leg of a short European tour… a wise decision… The result is a splendid performance and a CD of timeless jazz. Edison himself commented “They keep saying ‘mainstream jazz’and ‘progressive jazz’., but I think music is music. All these names are just a few names for music. If it sounds good, and if it is good, then it’s just music. I can’t find another name for jazz, no more than just good music.” Judging by the good hour of music from this happy and relaxed session, he knew just what he was talking about.
