This is the second CD in Storyville's series of Danish tenor saxophonist Jesper Thilo's small group sessions in Copenhagen in the 1980's. The CD contains five different combos, each with one or more of the following major American guest artists: pianists Kenny Drew and Roland Hanna, trumpeters Clark Terry and Harry "Sweets" Edison, trombonist Al Grey and drummer Billy Hart. The CD contains 14 tunes (74 minutes) and consists of four studio sessions in Copenhagenand one live session from Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen. Accompanying Thilo are the best musicians on the Danish jazz scene, including bassists Mads Vinding and Jesper Lundgaard and drummers Alex Riel and Svend-Erik Nørregaard.
